Coke vs. Pepsi? BOTOX vs. Xeomin?

Here in Atlanta, we know the obvious answer to the first question!! However, most people don't know the difference between BOTOX and the recently FDA-approved neurotoxin, Xeomin. Xeomin and BOTOX work the same way to smooth wrinkles. They share the identical active ingredient- botulinum toxin A. The difference is that BOTOX has an accompanying protein, but Xeomin is naked. In the skin, protein detaches from BOTOX within 1 minute of injection so the treatment and final results of these treatments are nearly identical. Theoretically, patients are less likely to develop resistance to Xeomin. Xeomin has been used in Europe since 2008.
